It was obvious from the outset of Ms. Stanley’s 1st grade class that Tyler have a future in the performance arts. Landing his first role in the 3rd grade, Tyler was cast as the center-piece of the school’s Christmas play. As Santa Claus, Tyler courted controversy when his belly-stuffing fell to the stage during the premiere. Later, Tyler would go on to be cast as the intimidating James Keller in the Galena Park High School’s production of The Miracle Worker. Considered his biggest moral failure, the Keller role would go on to haunt his dreams for the remainder of his life. Tyler mostly stress-dreams about his now-iconic performances as his reemergence to the stage is met with equal parts anxiety and excitement. No person alive chose to be.
