James Blake
London-based singer, songwriter, musician and record producer James Blake has made a strong name for himself over his 8 year career, regarded for his unique combination of electronic and R&B elements. First gaining recognition in 2010 for a trio of dubstep-influenced EPs, Blake released his self-titled debut album the following year to critical praise and the album gained the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Album charts. His second studio album, Overgrown, released in 2013 and was awarded the Mercury Prize and in 2014, he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. Blake released his third studio album, The Colour in Anything, in 2016 and the album also gained the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album charts.
