Lina Dib
Lina Dib’s multidisciplinary practices range from the experimental to the ethnographic. Earthy, watery and whimsical, slow and ephemeral, her installations and compositions examine relationships between technology and the environment, temporality and control. Her work has been supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Canada’s Social Science and Humanities Research Council, and the Moody Center for the Arts among others; and has been presented at venues including the Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco; MOP Projects, Sydney; The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Whitney Biennial and Johnson Space Center NASA. Lina is also co-founder of Fossilized Houston. At Day for Night, Lina is collaborating with Houston based programmer and interaction designer Taylor Knapps. Togethe
